Casing Secondary Seals
Reducer Bushings
​
The reducer bushing allow the reduction of casing size. They are installed in the botton flange of the casing or tubing head or spool and have two o´rings with anti-extrusion rings that seal off around the casing stub. The seals can be pressure tested through the test port provided in the botton flange of the head or spool.
Type "OO" Secondary Seal
This sealing system is composed of two type 'O' seal rings, with anti-extrusion rings. It is compatible with most of the applications and fluids for working pressures up to 10.000 psi.
Available in the full range of API casing dimensions.
Type "UU" Secondary Seal
This sealing system is composed of two 'U' type seal rings, energized by special springs and casing interference.
It is compatible with most of the applications and fluids, and it is indicated for working pressures up to 15.000 psi.
