Chokes
Model POG Abrasive Services Adjustable Choke
Oilequip Model POG Abrasive Service Choke Valve was engineered for abrasive applications on Xt-mas trees and manifolds. This equipment is used for flow regulating services with a precision perforated cage and a external sliding sleeve. This way the cage and the external sleeve create an impinging flow within the cage center dissipating the fluid energy, therefore eliminating the problems of turbulence and internal wear.
The flow trim (cage, seat and sliding sleeve) is available in high quality materials for all service conditions and applications.
Available with flanged or threaded end connections up to 10.000 psi working pressures.
For standard application this choke meets all API-6A requirements. For sour service applications, besides all API-6A requirements this choke also meets the NACE MR 01.75 specification.
Adjustable Chokes
Oilwequip Adjustable Chokes were engineered for applications with water, oil, and gás on Xtmas trees and manifolds. This equipment is used for services of flow regulation. The PJW and PN-60 models are available with external flow indicators to simplify their adjustment. Available with flanged or threaded end connections for working pressures of up to 3.000 psi (PN-60) and 5.000 psi (PJW).
These models meet all API-6A requirements and NACE MR 01.75 for sour service applications.
Model PPC Positive Chokes
Oilequip Model PPC Positive Chokes was engineered for control flow applications on xtmas trees and manifolds. These equipments are used when a restriction to flow to a fixed value is required. Flow beans are available in sizes from 2/64" to 64/64" , in 1/64" increments, for precise regulation of flow rate.
All Oilequip Adjustable Chokes may be easily converted to Positive Chokes. Available with flanged or threaded end connections for working pressures up to 10.000 psi.
